Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is the cost? Cost varies depending on the the type of service and length of session. 50-minute sessions are $178.50 and 75-minute sessions are $267.75. For workshops and group therapy inquiries, please contact me. I do not offer a sliding scale at this time.

  2. Are services covered by health insurance? If you have extended healthcare benefits, ask your provider if they cover services provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please note that I do not bill insurance plans directly, a receipt will be issued for reimbursement.

  3. What forms of payment do you accept? Credit card, Interac e-transfer, PayPal, or Cash (if in-person). Please note that there is an additional fee for PayPal transactions (inquire for more details).

  4. What is your cancellation policy? Please note that cancellations must be made on the online scheduling system or submitted in writing via email 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time. Clients will otherwise be billed for the full cost of the missed session.

  5. I would like to hear more about you, can we chat informally first? Yes! Please message me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation.

  6. Do you offer services to those living outside of Canada? Unfortunately, no.

  7. What happens in session? The first session is primarily information gathering, getting to know one another, and goal-setting. From there, with your guidance around pacing and comfort, we'll hone in on whatever is most pressing and helpful for your personal growth.

  8. How many sessions do I need? It depends on your needs, your budget, and the pace at which we move. We can discuss this together during a phone consultation or in the first session.

  9. How frequently should we meet? The frequency of sessions can vary and is dependent on your needs and budget. We can discuss what's best for you in consultation or in the first session.

  10. What is Art Therapy? Art offers us another way to share what may be difficult to express and process in words. Art Therapy is not about creating something aesthetically pleasing, it's a free-flowing process. No prior artistic experience is required.

  11. I'm not interested in engaging in art, can we just talk? Absolutely! Each session is tailored to your unique needs and preferences.
